Alma Franco

Alma Leticia Franco was born in Rosenberg, Texas on January 10,1979. She was the first daughter of Silvia Franco Sustaita and Alberto Franco. Raised as a 1 of 6 kids she lived with her older brother Alberto Franco Jr, and her younger siblings Daisy Franco, Fabian Franco, Usbaldo Franco, and the baby of the family Eberardo Franco. Her and her husband Cesar Hernandez would grow a family of their own, resulting in 3 kids the oldest being Yaresly Hernandez, the middle child Maylyn Hernandez, and their son Cesar Hernandez Jr. In May of 2021 she was diagnosed with Cervical cancer. Following an initial surgery in June she had a 3 month recovery time. Due to the very rare and aggressive cancer she would then began her chemotherapy and did 5 months of it. She did the immune therapy that they had offered . Then she did 4 months of radiation. Then on July 2022 she was admitted to the hospital for abdominal pain. Shortly after she received the sad news that she only had days left. For the last 2 days of her life she had asked her family get together and come home alongside her children because her kids always were her world. She passed away on August 19, 2022 surrounded by her family and loved ones. Anyone that knew her could tell you that she was a loving mother, a happy daughter, a proud wife, loving sister and a great friend. She had a very funny and confident personality. She will be dearly missed. She will forever live in our hearts and memories.
