Antonia Páez, una esposa, madre, abuela, hermana y amiga, falleció el 2 de septiembre de 2023, dejando atrás un legado de amor y recuerdos entrañables. Nació el 25 de julio de 1954, hija de Nicolás Cavazos y Antonia González, en Monterrey,México. Antonia junto con su esposo Eduardo Páez, construyeron una vida hermosa llena de amor y felicidad.

 

Después de pasar la mitad de su vida en México, Antonia y Eduardo se trasladaron a Houston, Texas, donde continuaron fortaleciendo los lazos con sus seres queridos.

 

La mayor alegría de Antonia en la vida era su familia. Fue una madre amorosa para sus dos hijas, Maria Basilio (Chris) y Claudia Páez (Brian) y una orgullosa abuela de sus tres nietas, Arianna, Leah y Kristen Basilio, así como de sus cuatro nietos, Delton y Deshawn Branch y Brian y Benjamin Jackson. Sera recordada con amor por sus hermanos(a), Celia, Cony, Blanca, Sergio, Lucy, Juan Carlos, Pedro, Jose Andres, Mayela, y Jesus Ricardo y muchos primos, sobrinos y amistades. Atesoraba cada momento pasado con su familia y creó innumerables recuerdos preciosos que serán apreciados para siempre.

 

La fe de Antonia fue una parte integral de su vida. Como miembro devota de la Iglesia Católica Reina de la Paz, encontró consuelo y orientación en su comunidad espiritual. Su devoción inquebrantable a Dios y su compromiso de vivir una vida de compasión y bondad conmovieron los corazones de muchos. La fe inamovible de Antonia brindó consuelo e inspiró a otros a abrazar sus propios caminos espirituales.

Antonia Páez, a wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away on September 2, 2023, leaving behind a legacy of love and cherished memories. She was born on July 25, 1954, to Nicolás Cavazos and Antonia González in Monterrey, Mexico. Antonia, along with her husband Eduardo Páez, built a beautiful life filled with love and happiness.

 

After spending half of her life in Mexico, Antonia and Eduardo moved to Houston, Texas, where they continued to strengthen their bonds with loved ones.

 

Antonia's greatest joy in life was her family. She was a loving mother to her two daughters, Maria Basilio (Chris) and Claudia Páez (Brian), and a proud grandmother to her three granddaughters, Arianna, Leah, and Kristen Basilio, as well as her four grandsons, Delton and Deshawn Branch, and Brian and Benjamin Jackson. She will be lovingly remembered by her siblings, Celia, Cony, Blanca, Sergio, Lucy, Juan Carlos, Pedro, Jose Andres, Mayela, and Jesus Ricardo, as well as many cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends. She treasured every moment spent with her family and created countless precious memories that will be cherished forever.

 

Antonia's faith was an integral part of her life. As a devoted member of the Queen of Peace Catholic Church, she found comfort and guidance in her spiritual community. Her unwavering devotion to God and her commitment to living a life of compassion and kindness touched the hearts of many. Antonia's steadfast faith provided comfort and inspired others to embrace their own spiritual paths.

 

Beyond her role as a wife, mother, and her devotion to her faith, Antonia was known for her warm smile, compassionate heart, and genuine love for others. She had a remarkable ability to make everyone she met feel seen, heard, and valued. Her presence was a beacon of light, radiating love and understanding to those who needed it most.

 

Antonia Páez was preceded in death by her father, Nicolás Cavazos, her mother, Antonia González, and her siblings, Nicolás, Francisco, Gerardo Cavazos, and Francisca Ortiz. While we mourn her loss, we find comfort in knowing that she is now reunited with her loved ones in eternal peace.
