Antonio Ochoa Jr. passed away Sunday, July 19, 2026 at his residence in Pasadena, TX. He is preceded in death by his Father Antonio Ochoa Sr., his sister Guadalupe Ancira and brother-in-law Richard Ancira.

He is survived by his loving mother Maria Luisa Ochoa; his daughters Mary Ochoa and Jessica Ochoa; his siblings Juana Puente, Maria Precilliana Parrales (Elmer Parrales), Julio Ochoa (Gina Ochoa), Jose Ochoa, Maria Luisa Smith (Terry Smith), Esmeralda Parrales; His grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

He loved fishing, spending time outdoors, and especially enjoyed cooking. If there was a grill nearby, you could count on him to be the one cooking. Antonio was the one standing over it, making sure everyone had something good to eat. He had a natural gift for bringing people together through food, laughter, and his easygoing spirit.

He was known for his humor — always joking, always ready to make someone smile. Dancing with friends, cousins, and siblings was one of his joys, and he brought that same energy into every gathering. Though he never attended school for a trade, Antonio learned the craft of mechanics directly from his father, Antonio Ochoa Sr., becoming skilled through hands-on experience and determination.

Antonio faced a difficult battle with health challenges , leaving him gravely ill. Despite the challenges, his body and spirit fought for four long years. In the end, he could not fully recover, and he is now resting in peace.

We will always remember Antonio as a funny, friendly, and warm-hearted brother, father, and son. His presence filled every room, and his absence leaves a space that cannot be replaced. He will be deeply missed, but his memory will live on through the stories shared, the laughter inspired, and the love he gave to those around him.
