Bettie Kendrick

Bettie Jim Kendrick was born November 15, 1929 in Alabama to Paul and Francis (Hoops) Jeter. On November 26, 1947, she married Walter Jackson (Jack) Kendrick. They raised two sons, Mickey and Randy, and two daughters, Kathy and Jackie.

Bettie is preceded in death by her husband, Jack; her son Randy Phillip; mother (Francis) and father (Paul); twin sister Phoebe Jo; and brothers Clayton and Cecil and Paul Jr.

Bettie is survived by her children, Mickey Paul, Kathy Varner (son-in-law Forrest) and Jackie Suhler (son-in-law David); five grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

Bettie always had a creative side which in her final years was painting and coloring that she shared with all her family. Bettie was known for her sweet personality always wanting to give out compliments and receive them too.

A funeral service will be held on Monday, January 18 at Integrity Funeral Home 8601 Almeda Genoa Rd. Houston, TX 77075 at 1:00 pm with visitation starting at 12:00 pm. Interment will be held at 3 pm at Forest Park East Cemetery 21320 Gulf Fwy, Webster, TX 7598.
