Claude Dill Jr., born on August 21, 1955, to Claude and Donna Dill, entered eternal rest surrounded by love. He is preceded in death by his parents but leaves behind a legacy of cherished memories and unwavering love. Claude is survived by his devoted wife of 30 years, Lilly Dill, and their children: JR Dill (April), Shauna Hanson (Timothy), Lilly Dill (Calvin), and Angie. He was a proud and loving grandfather to six grandchildren who were his greatest joy. Claude spent much of his life exploring the open roads as an over-the-road truck driver, finding beauty and adventure across the country. He was always a big fan of racing, so much he almost never missed watching a Nascar race. He spent his last night at the final race of the season at a nearby race track. His passion for baseball shone through as he coached not only his children but eventually his grandchildren, sharing his love for the sport across generations. In his later years, Claude found joy in simple pleasures—spending time with his beloved wife, doting on his grandchildren, and sharing laughter with his many friends. Known for his infectious smile and magnetic charm, Claude could turn any stranger into a friend, a gift best illustrated by his cherished Whataburger breakfast crew. Claude’s warmth, humor, and kindness touched everyone who knew him, and his absence will be deeply felt by all whose lives he brightened. His memory will forever live on in the hearts of his family and the countless friends who were lucky enough to know him.
