Espiridion Rodriguez Maldonado, born on January 15, 1950, in Guanajuato Mexico, peacefully passed away on June 10, 2026, in Pasadena, Texas, surrounded by the warmth and love of his family. A man whose heart and soul were deeply intertwined with those he cherished, Espiridion’s life was a testament to unwavering devotion and quiet strength.

Espiridion retired from a life of self-employment, embodying a remarkable work ethic that was admired by all who knew him. His passions spoke volumes about the man he was and found joy in the simple yet profound pleasures of life: the art of cooking, nurturing his plants, and the practical satisfaction derived from working with his tools. More than hobbies, these interests were expressions of his thoughtful and hard-working spirit, mirrored in every aspect of his life.

To describe Espiridion’s personality is to speak of a man who loved to be surrounded by family, a true cornerstone of his existence. Family was his world, a sanctuary where he found greatest happiness and purpose. He leaves behind a rich legacy through his beloved wife, Gloria who was by his side for the balance of his days. His beloved children: son, Javier and wife Duvina Rodriguez; daughter, Laura Rodriguez and husband Gabino Games; son, Raul and wife Irma Rodriguez; son, Jose Hugo Rodriguez and wife Maria de Jesus Tenería; son, Eduardo and wife Alejandra Rodriguez; daughter, Irene and husband Jose Garcia; and his son, Luciano Cruz. His love extended beyond them as a proud grandfather to 30 grandchildren and a cherished great-grandfather to 28 great-grandchildren.

The outpouring of love and respect for Espiridion is reflected in the gathering of those who wish to honor his memory. Services will be held at the Integrity Funeral Home in Houston, TX, located at 8601 Almeda Genoa Rd, with visitation times on June 18th from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM and again on June 19th from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Additionally, interment will take place at the Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery, 6900 Lawndale St, Houston, TX, on June 19th at 1:00pm.

Throughout his lifetime, Espiridion exemplified the quiet strength of a man who found his greatest joy in family, who worked diligently and lovingly, and who nurtured not only the plants in his garden but the bonds of kinship that defined his existence. Though he has departed, his spirit remains; a tender presence felt in the hearts of all who knew him.
