Gerardo Carrizal Jr.

Gerardo Carrizal Jr., aged 53, after a nearly 3 year battle with cancer, sadly passed away on August 4th, 2024. He was a beloved husband, father, son, brother and friend who will deeply be missed by all who knew him.   Gerardo was born on November 1st, 1970 in Brownsville,Tx. He is survived by his loving wife Elia Carrizal and his children Gerardo Carrizal lll, Lizette Carrizal and Eduardo Carrizal, His parent’s Gerardo Carrizal Sr and Irma Carrizal, and siblings Dora Salazar, Sandra Garcia, and Enrique Carrizal, along with numerous nieces and nephews.   Throughout his life he was known for his hard work, dedication, and passion for helping others. But more than anything Gerardo was a devoted husband and father. He loved spending time with his family. Whether it be watching movies, cooking out, or going to baseball games, he was always there to offer guidance, support, and encouragement, no matter what challenges they faced.   Gerardo will be remembered as the strong man he was and will be carried in the hearts of his loved ones forever.
