In loving remembrance, we announce the passing of Gloria Casarez, an outstanding mother and a cherished cornerstone of her family, who left this world on December 29, 2025, in Friendswood, Texas. Gloria graced the world with her warmth and love, born on March 24, 1951, in Karnes City, Texas, where her journey began.
Gloria's life has been defined by her unwavering devotion to her family, navigating the beautiful ups and downs of motherhood with grace and love. Her legacy endures through her children, embracing each one uniquely with fierce love and nurturing support. She is survived by her devoted daughters, Rio Vera, Yvonne, Annette and Gloria, as well as her sons, Jared, Elias and Jeremy. Each of them carries forward her spirit and values, inspired by the countless memories they share.
Gloria's personality shone brightly, illuminating the lives she touched. Whether it was her passion for dancing, the joy of traveling, her enthusiasm for playing puzzles, or her delight in tending to her beloved roses, she embraced life fully. A lover of fun and excitement, Gloria often found joy at the casinos, where laughter echoed through the halls. Her children fondly remember her infectious laughter and the warmth of her hugs, which could soothe any worry and uplift the spirit of those around her.
Her heart, however, bears an enduring sense of loss. Gloria was preceded in death by her dear son, Juan Rodriguez, whose memory she cherished deeply. While their time together was cut short, the love they shared transcends time and space, forging an eternal bond that comforts her family even now
As we gather to honor the life of Gloria Casarez, let us celebrate her spirit, her kindness, and her enduring love for her family. May her memory be a blessing and may we always remember the warmth she provided and the love she inspired.
