Grace Caballero, a cherished mother, sister, wife, grandmother, and aunt, left this world on December 6, 2025, in her beloved Houston, Texas, at the age of 50. Born on October 25, 1975, in Houston, Grace was a vibrant spirit whose life was filled with love, laughter, and a profound connection to her family and community.
Those who knew Grace will undoubtedly remember her love for Tejano music and dancing. She had a way of lighting up any room and making every gathering more joyous with her infectious energy. Grace’s passion for life was evident not only in her love of music but also in her fondness for shopping and playing the slots at casinos. It was not uncommon for her to gather her family for an outing, where they would share in laughter and create lasting memories.
As a devoted Houston Texans fan, Grace often brought her enthusiasm for football to family gatherings, cheering loudly and proudly for her team. Her dedication to both her favorite sport and her family was a testament to her loving nature. Grace’s bond with her family was incredibly strong; she was the cornerstone of their lives, always providing support and encouragement.
Grace’s legacy will live on through the countless memories she created and the unconditional love she shared with her family and friends. They will hold onto the joy she brought into their lives and the innumerable moments that made her special.
Family and friends are invited to celebrate Grace’s life and legacy during the following services at Integrity Funeral Home located at 8601 Almeda Genoa Rd, Houston, TX 77075. Visitation will be held on December 16, 2025, from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM. The Funeral Service will take place the following day, December 17, 2025, at 1:00 PM, followed by a Graveside Service at Forest Lawn Cemetery at 2:30 PM.
Though her time with us was far too brief, Grace Caballero will be forever remembered for her loving spirit, vibrant personality, and the deep connections she fostered with those fortunate enough to know her. She leaves behind a world that is richer for having had her in it, and a family forever grateful for the love she so freely gave.
She leaves behind her brother Vince Alejos (wife Rosa Alejos) sister Roselle Trevino (husband Raymond Trevino Jr.) brother Anthony Garcia (Wife Juanita Peña-Garcia).
Son: Gualberto Torres Jr, daughter n law Erika Torres, two grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Grace is preceded in death by her mother Antonia Alejos.
