Guadalupe Rodriguez

December 29, 1944 — September 28, 2025

**In Loving Memory of Guadalupe Rodriguez**

Guadalupe Rodriguez, age 80, passed away peacefully on September 28, 2025, in Houston, Texas, surrounded by the love of her family. She was born on December 29, 1944, in Corpus Christi, Texas, to the late Enrique and Josefina Nesmith. Guadalupe was preceded in death by her cherished siblings: Raul, Delia, Aurora, Enrique, Paula, Joe, and Jimmy.

A woman known for her infectious laughter and boundless love, Guadalupe filled the lives of those around her with warmth and joy. She was a gifted cook whose delicious meals brought family and friends together. Her generosity knew no bounds, and her home was always a welcoming place for all.

Guadalupe is survived by her devoted husband of 61 years, David Rodriguez Sr., and her loving children: David Jr., Michael, Rene, Christopher, Joey, and Sylvia. She also leaves behind her daughters-in-law Melissa, Bertha, Lisa, Sonia, Kristina, and son-in-law Michael Mireles, as well as numerous beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Throughout her life, Guadalupe dedicated herself to nurturing her family. Together with David, she cherished every moment spent on long drives and visits to Corpus Christi to connect with family. The weekends were a time of celebration, as they gathered to enjoy barbecues, delicious food, and music that stirred their spirits. Those joyous occasions were filled with laughter, dancing, and the love that radiated from Guadalupe as she treasured each moment with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Those who had the privilege of knowing Guadalupe will remember her not only for her incredible meals but for the boundless love she poured into her role as a grandmother. For many years, she lovingly babysat several of her grandchildren, creating lifelong memories filled with laughter and care.

Though our hearts are heavy with loss, we are profoundly grateful for the time shared and the love that will forever echo in our hearts. Guadalupe Rodriguez will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all whose lives she touched.
