Juan Manuel Barboza Jr. passed away peacefully on December 2, 2024, in Houston, Texas, surrounded by his loved ones.
Born on August 19, 1972, in San Benito, Texas, Juan was the beloved son of Juan and Carmen Barboza. Throughout his life, he was a devoted father, son, brother, and friend whose presence touched the hearts of many.
Juan is survived by his two children, Adrian and Kam Leigh, whom he adored beyond measure. Additionally, Juan leaves behind his loving parents, Carmen and Juan; his sisters, Lisa and Krystal; and his brothers, David, Eddie, Hector, and Bryan. He also maintained a kind and friendly relationship with his ex-wife, Betty, and held a special place in his heart for his three former stepsons, Josh, Issac, and Christopher
Juan was known for his kind-hearted, loving, private, and hilarious personality. His quick wit and infectious laughter brought joy to everyone he encountered. He found happiness in life’s simple pleasures—watching movies, riding his motorcycle, and spending cherished moments with his children and family.
An electrician by trade, Juan spent most of his life mastering a craft that he was deeply passionate about. He took great pride in his work, often referring to it as his form of artistic expression. Driving past buildings he helped construct would light up his face as he shared stories of his contributions. His attention to detail and dedication to perfection were the hallmarks of his career, and he left a lasting legacy in the projects he touched.
Juan’s life will be celebrated on Saturday, December 14, 2024, at Integrity Funeral Home at Forest Lawn Cemetery at 12:00 PM.
He will be remembered for his kindness, humor, and love for his family. Though he is no longer with us, his memory will forever live in our hearts.
