Juan Manzanares, a devoted man of God and beloved community leader, passed away peacefully in Houston, Texas on March 11, 2026. Born on February 17, 1950, in Tamaulipas, Mexico, Juan’s life was a testament to faith, family, and fellowship.
He dedicated much of his life to spreading the Gospel and preaching, serving as a pastor during his journey. Known for his warm spirit and great sense of humor, Juan was truly a people person who touched the hearts of many. His deep commitment to his faith and his community inspired those who knew him and left a lasting legacy of love and hope.
Juan was 76 years old at the time of his passing. He is survived by his cherished wife of 53 years, Felicitas, who stood by his side through decades of companionship and devotion. Together, they raised a wonderful family that included seven children: Gabriel Manzanares, Juan Marcos Manzanares, Alma Ruth Manzanares, Maira Judit Alvarado, Asiel Manzanares, Nancy Reyes, and Edith Hinojosa. His siblings: Eva Ochoa, Mirna Manzanares, Maria de Jesus Manzanares, and Carlos Manzanares, also survive him, sharing in the mourning of this profound loss.
The family will honor Juan’s memory with a visitation on March 20, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Integrity Funeral Home located at 8601 Almeda Genoa Rd, Houston, TX 77075. This will provide an opportunity for friends and loved ones to come together and celebrate his life. The funeral service will be held the following day, March 21, 2026, beginning at 12:30 PM at the same location. A graveside service will follow at 3:00 PM at Brookside Memorial Park, 13747 Eastex Fwy, Houston, TX 77039, where Juan will be laid to rest.
Throughout his life, Juan Manzanares was a beacon of hope and kindness, always eager to share his faith and uplift those around him. His legacy as a man of God, a loving husband, father, and brother, as well as a joyful and approachable spirit, will live on in the hearts of all who were blessed to know him.
Juan’s family extends their deepest gratitude to all who have offered their support and prayers during this difficult time. May his soul rest in eternal peace.
