Obituary

Juan Arnoldo Salazar, a kind-hearted spirit of 54 years, left this world on January 18th, 2026, in Houston, Texas. Born on June 24, 1971, in Sabinas Hidalgo, Nuevo León, Mexico, Juan's life was a vibrant tapestry woven with passion and a love nature's simple pleasures. He found solace and joy in the great outdoors, often lost in the rhythms of fishing, hunting, and gathering around the grill, where he conjured flavorful feasts that brought family and friends together.

His love for life and the connections he nurtured provide a rich legacy that will resonate through the hearts of those he leaves behind. Juan is remembered and mourned by his beloved children, Maritza Villeda, Melanie Gonzalez, Brittany Salazar, and Juan Anthony Salazar, who were the light of his life. His grandchildren—Madelynn Jane Gonzalez, Armando Villeda, Angel Villeda, Jalen Gonzalez, and Elizabeth Salazar—brought him immense joy and laughter, and they will carry with them the stories of their grandfather's warm spirit and adventurous heart.

Juan's siblings, Álvaro Salazar, Eleazar Salazar, José Ines Salazar, Francisca Facundo, Maria Morales, Rubén Salazar, Darío Salazar, Felipa Salazar, David Salazar, Adela Gutiérrez, and Erika Salazar, also hold treasured memories of their shared childhood, and they, together with many other family members and friends, will cherish his memory. His profound absence will echo within their gatherings, a reminder of the laughter, strength, and love he brought into their lives.

Preceding Juan in death were his devoted parents, Jose Ines Salazar Chapa and Felipa Santos, as well as his siblings, Eluide Salazar and Adolfo Salazar—all of whom welcomed him with open arms to the quietude beyond.

A visitation will be held on January 23, 2026, at Integrity Funeral Home in Houston, Texas. Friends and family are invited to gather from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM to share stories and celebrate Juan's life, an acknowledgment of the love he shared and the impact he had on so many. Another opportunity to come together will be from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM to pay tribute to his enduring spirit.

Though Juan Arnoldo Salazar has departed from this earthly realm, his memory will forever remain etched in the hearts of those who loved him, a guiding light in their lives, inspiring them to embrace every moment with passion and appreciation for the beauty in both life and nature.
