Julian Villanueva, Jr., lovingly known as "Pollo," was born on August 24, 1993, in Houston, Texas. He departed this life on May 31, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of laughter, strength, and love that will be cherished by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
As a Master Barber, Julian dedicated himself to his craft, bringing joy and confidence to his clients with every haircut. His personality shone brightly in all he did; he had a knack for making people laugh with his delightful jokes and infectious spirit. In addition to being an exceptional barber, he enjoyed staying active, often found lifting weights at the gym or reliving his youthful excitement for baseball. One of his favorite memories included joyous memories of riding go-karts with his beloved brother, sister, and all his treasured nieces and nephews. There was no shortage of love and support from his family, especially when it came to indulging in his mother’s home-cooked meals, a comfort he cherished deeply.
Julian was a devoted member of CT Church, where he found community and fellowship. His loving heart extended to many, creating bonds that will endure despite his absence. Alongside his family and friends, he embraced the beauty of relationships, nurturing connections that reminded him of the importance of care and compassion in life.
He is survived by his mother, Marbella Cardenas; his father, Julian Villanueva, Sr.; his stepfather, Gabriel Vasquez; his sister, Diana Villanueva; his brother, Juan Carlos Villanueva; his nieces, Bella and Aliyah Perez; his nephews, Eli Perez and Juan Villanueva, Jr.; his girlfriend, Marissa Sanchez; and his stepchildren, Isabella and Julian. Each of these individuals carry a piece of Julian's spirit within them, sharing stories and memories that will keep him alive in their hearts.
Julian joins his dearly departed family members in eternal rest: his grandmother, Clemencia Cardenas; his grandfather, Juan Cardenas; his uncle, Erasmo Ponce; his grandfather, Salomon Villanueva; and his aunt, Ermila Cardenas. Together, they will undoubtedly continue to watch over their loved ones with pride and affection.
Julian's memory will forever live on through the laughter he brought into the lives of his loved ones and the meaningful moments they shared. His dedication as a son, brother, uncle and friend, as well as his warm-hearted nature, will be sorely missed but etched eternally in the hearts he touched.
Serving as pallbearers are Juan Carlos Villanueva, Gabriel Vazquez, Rigoberto Cardenas, Rigoberto Cardenas, Jr., Raul Cardenas, Israel Cardenas, and Jose Perez.
Julian Villanueva, Jr. may have left this world, but his spirit, filled with love and laughter, will remain forever in our hearts.
