Linda K. Hubbell

October 5, 1948 — December 19, 2025

Linda Hubbell, age 77, passed away peacefully on December 19, 2025. She was born on October 5, 1948, and was just two days shy of celebrating her 58th wedding anniversary, a testament to a life deeply rooted in love, devotion, and family.

Linda was a loving wife, a caring mother, and a cherished “Great Mawmaw.” She had a quiet, generous spirit and spent much of her life caring for others, often placing their needs above her own. A devoted member of Sagemont Church until her stroke in 2013, Linda continued to carry her faith in her heart, praying daily for the problems and well-being of others.

She found joy in life’s simple pleasures, thrift store shopping: reading detective novels and courtroom dramas, and sitting in her backyard watching birds and squirrels. These small moments brought her peace and comfort and reflected her gentle appreciation for everyday beauty.

Linda is survived by her beloved husband, Les Hubbell; her daughter, Kelle Hubbell; her grandson, Brent Hubbell; her sister-in-law, Sharon Moore; her niece-in-law, Gina Baron; her sisters, Dorinda Gonzales and Debbie Pool; and her brother, Grady “Bubba” Chandler.

She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

A graveside service will be held on Monday, December 29, 2025, at 2:30 PM at Forest Lawn Cemetery, located at 8701 Almeda Genoa Blvd., Houston, Texas 77075.

Family will be gathering in the Lobby of Integrity Funeral Home at 2:15pm and will proceed to the Graveside in funeral procession.

Attendees are encouraged to dress comfortably. Casual attire is preferred; formal dress is not required.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to your local food bank in Linda’s memory, a gesture that honors her lifelong compassion for others.

Linda’s kindness, quiet strength, and selfless heart will be remembered always.
