With hearts full of love and gratitude for a life beautifully lived, we celebrate the life of Liza Arce Rodriguez, who was born in Houston, Texas, and peacefully passed in Pasadena, Texas.
Liza was a radiant soul whose life was a reflection of compassion, strength, and unwavering devotion to those she loved. Her presence brought warmth into every room, and her laughter was a gift that uplifted family and friends alike. Though she is no longer with us in body, her spirit lives on in the countless lives she touched.
She was preceded in death by her beloved mother, Josie Antu; her dear aunt and uncle, Gloria and Pete Castro; and her cherished cousin, Mary Jane Perez.
Liza leaves behind a legacy of love through her devoted husband, Carlos Rodriguez; her beloved sons, Marcus A., Christian J., and Joshua, who were the pride and joy of her life; and her parents
Dad, Robert Antu and Arthur Arce (Pamela Contrell).
She is also lovingly remembered by her siblings, Tommy Arce (Paola Jurdo ) and stepbrother Matthew (Christina Vidrine); her niece, Mariah Arce; her nephews, Matthew Arce (Olivia Gil), Matthew Vidrine, Jr. and Samuel Vidrine.
Liza shared a special bond with her extended family, including her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Juan and Carmen Rodriguez; her sisters-in-law, Esther (Jose Torrez) and Emily (Rick Motley); and her brother-in-law, Juan Rodriguez Jr. III, along with a host of beloved Rodriguez nieces and nephews, extended relatives, and dear friends.
A special place in her heart was held by her best friend, Rachell (Oliver Manolescu), and their sons, Jackson Payne and Benjamin Payne, who brought her much joy.
Liza found happiness in life’s simple and meaningful moments. She loved spending time with her family, creating meals filled with love, couponing with excitement, sewing with care, and taking memorable road trips that turned into cherished adventures.
Her life was a testament to love, resilience, and faith. Though our hearts grieve her absence, we rejoice in the beautiful memories she leaves behind. Her legacy will continue to shine through her family, her friendships, and the love she so freely gave.
“Her love remains our guiding light, and her memory will forever live in our hearts.”
