Luzgarda Blanco Flores (LUZ) was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, cousin, and friend. Luz passed away November 20, 2023, at the age of 59 in Houston, TX she was surrounded by her loving family and friends. Luz will be remembered for her entrepreneurial spirit, her love for her family, her passion for cooking. Luzgarda (Guardian of light) touched the lives of many with her war smile and her kind heart. Luz will be missed by all who knew her she is preceded in death by her father Alfred, her brother Edward, and Mother Juanita she is survived by her loving husband Gustavo her three children Laura, Mica & Anthony, 3 grandchildren Sasha, Chanel, doggy grandson Michio, and her 4 siblings Gilbert, Juliet, Julisa, and John Mario.
Luz was a hard worker from a young age she began working at 13 years old doing all types of jobs. She eventually worked her way up and began her cleaning business where she was self-employed for 33 years, she was recognized for her work by many home builders, baseball players and even a former president of the United States.
Luz was the life of the party she loved life, she loved dancing, hosting parties, traveling, and she loved her husband dearly and adored her children and grandchildren she showered them all with unconditional love. She gave them everything that she never had growing up family was very important to her and if you messed with anyone in her family including her siblings you were going to hear about it. Luz was an incredible woman she was strong, independent, and generous she gave to everyone and anyone.
