Obituary

obituario

Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend whose warmth and love touched everyone fortunate enough to know her.

She was known for her beautiful smile and unforgettable laughter that could be heard from miles away. She never met a stranger, and her hugs made everyone feel welcomed, loved, and at home. Whether offering comforting words or thoughtful advice, she always knew how to lift the spirits of those around her.

She was an amazing wife, an exemplary mother to her children — and even to Conchita, her beloved cat — and a deeply devoted grandmother. To her grandchildren, she was a shining beacon of light, love, strength, and guidance. Her family was her greatest joy and proudest accomplishment.

She enjoyed crocheting, caring for her plants, reading a good romance novel, and recently discovered a love for watching short films on YouTube. She was a hardworking and dedicated woman who instilled those same values of perseverance, love, and commitment into her children.

She loved God, a cold Coca-Cola, and sharing a good laugh with the people she loved most.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ricardo Carreon and Ma Guadalupe Piña; her siblings, Jaime, Amparo, and Sabino; and her beloved grandson, Armandito.

She leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories through her devoted husband, Antonio Medina; her children, Sylvia Elena Rodriguez, Teresa “Chiquis” Gonzalez (Chicano), Beatriz Medina, and Alejandro “Bebe” Medina; and her beloved grandchildren, Monica Estrada (Josue), Yesenia Isabelle Gonzalez, Antonio Gonzalez, Noemí Gonzalez, Nayeli Lares, and Magali Lares.

Though her presence will be deeply missed, the love, laughter, wisdom, and kindness she shared will forever remain in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
