Marko Lipovac

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Marko Lipovac, age 74, who left us peacefully on August 4, 2024. Marko was a beloved husband, brother, father, and grandfather who touched the lives of all who knew him.

Marko, also known as "Žućo" to many, was born in Bukovica, near Banjaluka in Bosnia and Herzegovina. He was raised by his mother, Ljubica, along with his younger brother, Ivo.

Marko was a devoted husband to his wife, Nada, for 51 years. Together, they built a life full of love and cherished memories. As a father, he was a guiding light and a source of unwavering support to his children, Dario and Nikola. He took great pride in his family, particularly in his treasured grandchildren Ivana, Juleiny, Leo, Nina, Emma, and Filip.

Marko will be remembered for his kindness, sense of humor, and unwavering dedication to his family. He had a remarkable ability to make everyone around him feel special and loved. His legacy of compassion and strength will live on in the hearts of his family and friends.

A memorial service followed by burial will be held on Saturday, August 10, 2024, at 10:00 AM at Forest Lawn Cemetery, 8601 Almeda Genoa Rd, Houston, Texas. Following the burial, there will be a small, intimate reception at Nikola's house, 4986 Dumfries Dr., Houston, Texas 77096. You are invited to join us in remembering Marko’s legacy.
