Melissa Reyes

Melissa Reyes, 41, of Houston, Texas, passed away on November 11th, surrounded by the deep love of her family. She was spunky, fun, beautiful, strong, amazing, and so full of life — the kind of person whose presence lit up every room she entered. Melissa was a wonderful mother, daughter, and sister. She loved trying new things, traveling, and embracing each moment with joy and openness. Her adventurous spirit and warm heart drew people to her, and she made an impact everywhere she went. She bravely battled cancer and became a survivor through extraordinary strength and determination. Though she ultimately passed due to complications related to immunotherapy, her courage and resilience will forever inspire those who loved her. Melissa is survived by her daughters Ariel and Ava; her brother Ismael Jr.; her mother Maria; and her father Ismael. She will always be remembered for her kindness, her spark, and the love she shared so freely. Melissa’s memory will continue to live on in the hearts of her family, her friends, and all whose lives she touched.
