With profound love and heartfelt gratitude for a life well lived, through Ramiro Cardona Elizondo August 2, 1948 ~ July 19, 2026. We celebrate the memory of a devoted husband, loving father, cherished grandfather, and faithful friend whose legacy will continue to live on through the many lives he touched. Ramiro will be reunited with his loving son, Ronnie Lee Elizondo.

He was a man whose heart was centered on his family. As a loving husband to Lucilla Luna Elizondo, he exemplified unwavering love, commitment, and devotion. Together they built a home filled with laughter, strength, and cherished memories that will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew them.

He was the proud and loving father of Roy Elizondo and Reuben Ramiro Elizondo, whom he loved beyond measure. He also embraced his daughters-in-law, Michelle Piñon Elizondo, Ruth Caliso Elizondo, and Paula Elizabeth Elizondo, as treasured members of his family.

His greatest joy was spending time with his beloved grandchildren: Domonic Sage Elizondo, Judyth Nicole Elizondo, Brandon Ruiz, Abigail Briann Elizondo, Isabella Ava Garcia, Roberto Antonio García, Alina Sydelle Elizondo, Zane Connery Elizondo, Kezia Journee Elizondo, and Kehlani Leah Elizondo. Each of them held a special place in his heart, and he delighted in watching them grow while encouraging them with love, wisdom, and humor. Early in life Ramiro was a hard worker at picking cotton and fruit in the fields and through these moments prompted him to seek higher learning.

Professionally, he dedicated many years of service as a funeral director, compassionately assisting countless families during their most difficult moments with dignity, professionalism, and care. He attended Commonwealth Institute of Funeral Service in Houston, Texas A&M University of Kingsville for higher education and Columbia Southern University where he obtained a master's degree in applied science for Safety Management. Later in life, he continued his commitment to serving others as a Safety Manager, where his strong work ethic, leadership, and concern for the well-being of others earned him the respect of colleagues and friends alike.

Known for his enjoyment of driving motorcycles, wonderful sense of humor, he was truly a joker at heart. His quick wit, infectious laughter, and ability to make others smile brought joy wherever he went. Whether sharing a funny story or offering words of encouragement, he had a unique gift for lifting the spirits of everyone around him.

Above all else, he loved his family deeply. His kindness, generosity, wisdom, and unwavering devotion left indelible impressions upon all who had the privilege of knowing him. Though his earthly journey has come to an end, the memories he created, the values he instilled, and the love he shared will continue to inspire future generations.

His life was a testament to love, laughter, hard work, and faithfulness. He will be deeply missed, lovingly remembered, and forever treasured in the hearts of his family and all whose lives were enriched by his presence.
