Obituary

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Ronnie Lee Elizondo, who left this world too soon on February 3, 2026, at the age of 49, in Baytown, Texas. Born on April 23, 1976, in Houston, Texas, Ronnie was a man of remarkable spirit, whose memory will be cherished by all who knew him.

Ronnie dedicated his professional life as a Safety Manager, demonstrating an unwavering commitment to the safety and well-being of others. His straightforward nature was as notable as his deep compassion for people. He was known for speaking his mind with honesty and integrity, traits that earned him the respect and admiration of colleagues and friends alike.

Ronnie served his country in the United States Army and we salute him for his unwavering service.

Outside of his career, Ronnie found joy in life's simple pleasures. He and his beloved wife, Michelle, shared a profound love and an adventurous spirit that took them to beautiful destinations like Hawaii, Puerto Rico, and Oregon. They had exciting plans to visit Spain, deeply connecting with Ronnie’s ancestral roots.

Ronnie cherished the thrill of travel, especially when it involved cheering on the Houston Astros at baseball games across the nation. His passion for collecting Astros bobbleheads was one of the many quirky delights that characterized the loveable man he was.

Ronnie's legacy lives on through his devoted family. He is survived by his loving wife, Michelle Elizondo. He was the cherished son of Ramiro and Lucilla Elizondo, and a beloved brother to Roy and Reuben Elizondo. The love he had for his children knew no bounds; he leaves behind Judith Nicole Elizondo, Domonic Sage Elizondo, Abigail Briann Elizondo, and Brandon Ruiz. Additionally, he embraced a larger family as a stepfather to Ralphael, Jeremiah, Kevin, Adam, and Victoria. Ronnie was also a proud grandfather to Rylan, Vivian, Luciano, Giovanni, Meilani, Zaedyn, Ryan, Aaron, Ralphael Jr, and Bentlee, and a great-grandfather to little Rose.

He will be dearly missed but fondly remembered by his nieces and nephew: Aline Sydelle, Zane Connery, Kezia Journee, and Kehlani Leah.

Family, friends, and all whose lives were touched by Ronnie are invited to pay their respects during the visitation services held at Integrity Funeral Home, located at 8601 Almeda Genoa Rd, Houston, TX.
